On-device information

Currency Wheel stores your selected currencies, amounts, favourites, wheel configuration, comparison currencies, personal exchange rates, fee preferences, language preference and manually saved conversion snapshots on your device. These are used to provide conversion functions. Device backups are governed by your Apple system settings. The app provides no account or in-app cross-device synchronization.

Reference-rate service

The app connects to open.er-api.com to download reference exchange rates supplied by ExchangeRate-API. The service can see ordinary network request information such as your IP address. Requests do not include the amounts you enter, your selected currency pairs, your personal rates or your saved conversion snapshots. For the provider's own data practices, consult its policy at ExchangeRate-API privacy policy.

Advertising and analytics

The app includes no advertising or analytics SDK and does not require registration. We do not use an in-app tracking identifier for advertising.

Managing your data

You can delete individual saved conversions or clear the saved list in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data from the device, subject to any retained device backups managed by Apple. Language changes preserve your saved settings and conversions.
