Currency Wheel helps you understand foreign prices while travelling. It is free and does not require an account.

Convert a price

Choose the currency of the price on the left wheel and the currency you want to see on the right. Enter the amount. Tap the middle arrow to reverse the currencies; the entered number stays the same. Tap a currency name to search the full currency list. Search accepts Chinese and English names, countries and ISO codes such as USD.

Personal rates and fees

Open Rates & Fees. Enter your own rate for the displayed direction, or enter the two amounts from an exchange to calculate the rate. Reversing that pair uses the reciprocal rate. Your own rate is treated as including exchange costs; no extra percentage fee is added. Return to reference rates from the same screen. With reference rates, you can estimate an extra percentage fee.

Wheels, calculator and comparison

Each wheel can contain 3–8 currencies. The calculator supports addition, subtraction, multiplication and division before converting. Compare the same amount in 3–5 selected currencies, or use the quick table for common prices.

Saved conversions

Saving is manual. Up to 100 snapshots are stored with their original rate, fee and timestamp. Restoring a snapshot recalculates it with current settings; its saved total is not a live quote. You can copy, delete or clear snapshots. They are not expense or bank records.

Language and number format

Choose System Default, English or Traditional Chinese in About. Currency codes do not change with language. Number formats follow your device region, independently of the interface language. Changing language does not erase existing settings or snapshots.

Offline use

Connect to the internet for the first reference-rate download. Downloaded data remains usable offline with its original date. You can enter a personal rate without downloading data. Refresh respects the provider's next update time, so repeated refreshes do not guarantee a new rate.

Rates are daily reference data, not executable bank or card quotes. Currency Wheel does not perform payments, currency trades or investment services.
